To build Amaravathi, AP CM launches 'e-brick' programme
VIJAYAWADA: Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu has
launched 'Amaravathi e-brick' programme inviting financial contribution
from Andhrites towards building the new capital.
Naidu has
appealed to the Andhrites settled across the globe to contribute Rs 10
via online payment for each brick that will be used in construction of
the state's new capital.
He also launched the 'payment gateway'
for the purpose, stated an official release, adding that the chief
minister also announced that an electronic data base of the contributors
will be maintained.
The government will also send certificates
bearing his signature to those who make the contribution under the
e-brick drive. "Amaravati.gov.in is the link for e-brick payments," it
stated.
